Reptamin makes turtle sticks designed for baby turtles. They are smaller and designed to provide the nutrition required by a growing baby. I have found these at Pet Smart, same price range as adult turtle food. It is a good idea to supplement the sticks with dark green leafy vegetables, chopped fine. You might also try an aquatic plant called Anachris, available at most pet stores who carry live fish. Your baby will feel secure hiding in it, will nibble on it, and you will have the added advantage of a cleaner tank, as this plant digests turtle waste.

It depends a little on what kind of turtles they are, but most turtles in the wild are carnivores, meaning they eat meat. As turtles grow and reach maturity they become herbivores, and eat plants. I would just go to the pet store and buy some turtle food. It usually comes in pellet form and they make a special kind for young turtles. If you don't want to do that you can feed them raw ground beef or shrimp. And as they get older (3-5 years) begin feeding them vegetables like lettuce and broccoli.

This depends a lot on the species, but things like Red-ear sliders like a nice mix.

Try about 1/2 good quality pellets (small pellets are better for babies) and 1/2 live or well-preserved 'fish foods'. Frozen krill is a favorite, as are bloodworms. Other worms, bugs, crickets, shrimp, snails, and some small fish work as well.
