Credibility Of Sources / Persuasive argument:
In this lesson we discussed the credibility and reliability of sources. So we are going to take what you learned and put it to the test. You can pick any topic (see limitations listed below) that you are interested in and you need to write a persuasive argument convincing me, the teacher, that your view points are valid and credible. For instance, in later lessons you will learn about the difference between the Electoral Vote and the Popular Vote when it comes to elect a new President. One could write an argument stating that we do not need the Electoral Vote and others could argue that it is the only valid way to elect the President. No matter what side of the argument they choose, there are tons of reasons to pick one side or another.

You need to list your sources at the end of your paper with the following information: Who is the author? What are the author’s credentials or qualifications? Is the author stating facts or opinions? When was the source published? Does the source include a bibliography and other citations?
Limitations:
You cannot write about anything to do with religion.
Family/personal issues that would be meant to stay behind closed doors.
