Do you think there is much of a difference between the ages of 19 years old and 22 years old? I'm not talking about being able to drink or anything like that, just mentally, do you think there is much of a difference or are they practically the same?

The difference is 3 years in physical age but mentally, it all depends on the individual, the kind of environment he grew up in, the experiences that he goes through, the people he mixes with, etc. I know some 36 years old who behaves like an 18 year old kid and also some 16 years old that behave real matured and grown-up.

Physical age do have some bearing on a person's maturity and generally, a 22 years old person would be more grown-up and stable compared to an 18 years old .... but there are exceptions.

There's maturity difference there. That's speaking very generally though. I was watching a documentary the other day that claimed female brains do not reach maturity until the age of 23, and males until the ages of 24-25. If that's any thing to go by, a 19 year old is technically a kid and a 22 year old is nearly an adult.
The drinking age doesn't count where I am because we can drink legally at 18.
