No, my hubby is too tall and would hit it every time cause our ceilings are low. We do have a pretty cast iron one with pretty lights on it in the dining room over the table.

Probably not until my kids move out of the house because with them running through the house all the time, I would be dusting it all the time!!! They are beautiful though.

of course...as long as someone would be around to climb a ladder and bring it down to be cleaned occasionally. I like cathedral and vaulted ceilings in my homes.

Yes, I have one in my music room.
I hate them in dining rooms because they get very dusty . . . I always think of dust filtering off over the table - creeeepy.
