rate of transpiration...biology help plz?

does the rate of transpiration go faster if the leaves are larger on a plant?

Yes, because they show more surface area to the sun, and so more gases evaporate and because they also have more stomata the gases escape through them and it looses lots of water.

Larger leaves should have more stomata and lose water through transpiration faster.
