Horror remakes are big now I guess. I like some of them. What are the names of all the Horror Movie Remakes and upcoming horror movie remakes.

Just to let you know, Rob Zombie is NOT remaking Halloween. Its more of a prequel than anything.

What i'd LOVE to know is if they are going to remake the following:

Candyman
Pumpkinhead
Carrie {other than the other remake}
Leprachaun
Cujo {I'd love to see them TRY and touch that}

What do you people think?

NINJA TURTLES!!!!! Yeah, it looks sick with that animated crap. But honestly, do you seriously think it's gonna look better if real people had done it? Their dialogue is wayyy corny, but I guess it's the only choice for kids. That kinda sucks, eh?

Now about the remakes, I thought Rob Zombie was remaking it. I would also consider it a prequel considering they already had Halloween 5. Why would they just start over?

I don't know much about horror movies, but remakes are B.S.

Just watch the real one, I have NEVER seen a remake better than the actual thing.

Yes, they are making tons of remakes, but occasionally, one comes out that is pretty good. Three that I loved were Dawn Of The Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes.

Personally, I'd hate for them to remake Evil Dead, but I'd love to see the return of Ash. The problem is that the film had two different endings.

Candyman I think was fine as it was, and doesn't need a remake. Same with Carrie. They did a sequel, that wasn't necessary. But many of Stephen King's novels could definitely benefit from a newer film. Pet Semetary is one.

I agree that a newer version of Friday The 13th would be cool. Or a newer, truly scary version of Nightmare On Elm Street. Same with Hellraiser (keep Doug Bradley, but come up with some newer, truly scary effects and cenobites).

As for even older films, Motel Hell could do for a decent update. I also remember a film called Blood Beach, which is all but forgotten, but could be brought back.

I personally would LOVE to see a new Candyman, though I'd see them ruining it yet once again with more foolish and bland excuses for horror. Pumpkin Head would be great too, if they were to actually make a slightly more realistic entity. The few movies that they did, it just screamed "Poor camera man who got the dishonor of wearing the suit for the day." And last but CERTAINLY not least, let's not forget Leprachaun. I loved that movie, the orignal as well as the second.. Though once again they've played out that franchise that I seriously don't see them coming out with another one, or if they were to do so, it wouldn't grab my attention like the first two.. Cujo was too good of a movie for them to try, and if they do I will kill all.

I would love to see a remake of the classic, "The Birds." A remake of Cujo would be great maybe something like the Son of Cujo.

I'm not too sure about those, since I didn't even like the originals.

I am excited for the new Day of the Dead remake tho.

vincent F, there is a new movie with Ash from the evil dead AND bruce campbell in it, it is called 'my name is bruce' it's basically about some villiage people who think bruce campbell is his character Ash, so they kidnapp him off the set of a B-movie set and try to make him deal with their real monster/deadite problem.

They are going to remake the evil dead but they haven't found a director yet, personally I'd rather they didn't.
