I am asking because while I was doing laundry my 2 year old poured out some Cascade and then sprayed it with "bleach free" multi-surface cleaner. I think the cleaner may of had immonia. It was a small amount of liquid but a whole box of cascade. (yes, i moved my chemicals to a higher cabinet...just got new ones--no knobs yet so I didnt have my child lock in it). Anyway, I moved us all to another room and opened a window and two doors to that room. This all happened about a hour ago.

yup. The steam you see coming out of the vent is laced with chlorine gas. Isn't it a lovely feeling knowing your dishes are getting so clean at the minor cost of your health? There are natural alternatives. I would suggest you check your market to see what's available. Look for terms that indicate Eco-friendly or the like.

It does not cantain bleach. It contains phosphates.
