i remember my first few weeks of being pregnant. the cramps would wake me up in the middle of the night. they were sometimes sharp pains but then they toned down a bit. but then i didn't know i was pregnant but i had the feeling. so, don't fret yourself. if they end up being to where you can't move or your bleeding like crazy, go to the doc immediately. and if you have any questions, as your doc. good luck and congrats!!!!

Cramping is normal. Extreme cramping associated with pains in your upper belly (sharp stabbing pains) or bleeding etc ..... not normal symptoms would be something to call your doctor about .... good lck!
