Didn't CBC have this policy for a while? They would show the fights, but never show a replay of them?

They used to never show the fights at 11 oclock either. If you missed the fight during the game by being distracted, too bad.

I've noticed that FSN shies away from fights or scrums. Fighting and dust-ups are as much a part of the game as scoring. Have you ever noticed how there are hardly any incidents of hockey players getting in trouble with the law? It's because they can let out their anger on the ice, one on one with the guy that upset him.

They show corpses on the news, why wouldn't a fight between two willing grown men be ok to show replays of? It's this kind of mentality that's going to turn hockey into figure skating.

No, while I really dislike fighting in hockey, to ban showing it would be ludicrous. If it happened, whether you like it or not, you can't stop it being shown. I just don't think they need to show it 10 times over and over.

Why????

I'm not wild about the fighting and I have no problem with this.

11:00 news "highlights" that consist of fights INSTEAD of Goals and Saves.....that's something else again.

Good god no. Its part of the game... and if a fight is one of the highlights of the game then it probably should be shown with the highlights
