Good for you.. For so many years I did the same thing. It was always Mom or Dad. They are both gone now. I still often think I should tell Mom or Dad when something good or bad happens. Instead, now I tell my husband, sisters or my children. I have adapted, but there is nothing like a good long talk with your Mom. Enjoy every day with her. Mine has been gone 7 years now and I still miss her. I don't think I will ever get over their loss.

Definitely my best friend because she will be excited for me and let me decide if i want to communicate it to others. My mom on the other hand will pick up the phone and in a matter of minutes the entire family will know.

I would tell my mom also. I am married but I have always had a very close bond with the mother.

my best friend.
I tell her everything.
we've been best friends for like the longest time. we've argued, and we've had the best times ever. I don't know what I'd do without her.
