Tickets to Space Center Houston, the privately run visitor center at the Johnson Space Center, are:
Adults: $18.95
Children: (4-11) $14.95
Seniors: $17.95
The Kennedy Space Center in Florida charges $38 adult/$28 child (ages 3-11) for which you get to tour the Kennedy Space Center, see IMAX® space movies and all exhibits and shows. Also includes the Astronaut Hall of Fame and interactive space-flight simulators. Ticket valid for two days of admission (must be used within 7 days of first use).
The JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) Public Services Office in Pasadena, California, offers tours free of charge for groups and individuals on an advance reservation basis.
There are many other NASA centers that you can visit. See the source.

Go to a theme park instead - the Kennedy space centre is really boring and appears stuck in a time warp around 1970. You will not get the impression that space exploration is high tech.

Many NASA facilities have free public areas with museums and the like. Heck, you are paying for it anyway, if you are an American.

At Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC)
nothing , its free
but it really depends on what your trying to get a look at.
somethings you can't get to unless you have an escort.
This goes for NASA-AMES, AND JOHNSON SPACE CENTER as well.
