do you do your edges first, do you cut it very slowly, turn around or use reverse?

I mow the front yard section from outer edges to the center going in slightly overlapping circles gradually closing in. Then I move to another section going around the house next to one side, then the back section, dividing the largest back section in two and finally the last section by the drive.
Yes, I do the outer edges of each section closing in on the center. Not usually slowly. Circling not turning around. Sometimes reverse under trees and in tight spots. If I feel like taking my time, I mow slowly.
My riding mower will go fairly fast, maybe 7 - 10 mph, unless cutting heavy grasses or tall weeds, and when it's been wet, that slows/bogs it down some. My mower doesn't have a speedometer so speed is estimate.
When the weather is very hot - hurry and get it done asap of course.

I go around the edges then start at one end of the yard and work my way to the other side. I love mowing the lawn I did it today for the first time this year!

I never do edges unless i do them by hand &
pull the grass out away from the edges
but when i mow & help you know who out
I go like a bat out of hell & do it in big areas lol
very little reversing

Well, in the first place it takes me 2 1/2 hours to mow here, and of course any good mower knows that you are suppose to change patterns every time you mow, so one time I will go back and forth, or diagonally or round and round. I open the riding mower up all the way!! Thanks for asking!!! Makes me want to hop on the John Deere!!

I mow it in a forward line, then I pull it back over that line, so it gives it a good cut. Then I do my edges.*

I thought you wear asking about my meowing...to which I was going to answer that it was none of your business...lol...
As for the mowing I don't have a garden myself...it is everyone's lawn so the manager pays for the gardener...I will have to ask him and let you know.
