Why do some men rape?

I am a female looking for 'insider information' (not meaning you are a rapist but meaning maybe you knew someone who might have been who left an impression on you as to their twisted logic)

I have heard we are the only species on earth that truly forces sex, or the only mammals at least.

I thought about the clothing, but it didnt make sense to me...what if its 110 degrees outside? Guys take their shirts off and I can find that attractive, but I dont slip something in their drink or take them down and rape them if Im in the mood (yes men can be raped)...

I have heard (and it makes sense) that rape is not really about sexual satisfaction. It's about control and about hurting the woman and humiliating her. Rapists who are castrated so they can't rape again have been known to assault women in other ways, even kill them. It's really more about irrational blind hatred of all women and violence than about sex.

One case that stands out is the rape and murder of a Vermont female student in Oct 2006. My sister said she once thought someone slipped a drug into her drink. (she wasn't raped - but still scary). It's completely barbaric when someone rapes someone else. Some individuals literally cannot control their urges and are serial rapists. But in most cases, I'd say rape occurs because certain men have a horrible attitude toward the way they view and treat women. Not all men are like this (thankfully).

Regarding the date rape drug, I'd say the combo of testosterone/aggressiveness and a degrading view toward women make some men wanting sex so bad that they'll go to any lengths to have sex with a woman. Or they think they're entitled to it.

Keep in mind, some women actually rape men (albeit on a much less frequent basis). Some recent examples are female teachers having sex with 14 year old male students. So both genders are capable of rape. It's all just bad stuff.

Rapists really want to sleep with their own mothers.

They envy the power and control that their mother (or mother figure) has had over them during childhood. They therefore want to take that control back with a show of force as they feel it is necessary to prove violently, once and for all, that they are men not little boys.

Well they are not men at all. Unfortunately, they are truly sick twisted individuals with low self esteem, faulty gonads and a lot of pent up anger from years of disappointment... and they should be imprisoned for 50 years along with their gang rape buddies... so they can smell their own farts and have to get horny about that instead.

well... I dont know if this is exactly considerd rape, but I have a buddy, who is single, and when he was about 19 he raped a girl, and not to sound sick or anythign, but it was his fix.. so to say.. now he has a group of girls.. about 10, who all agree to get "raped" by him when ever he wants... the girls dont know when it will happen, he just does it when he wants.. and all the girl like it... suposibly its a turn on for some people, and gets there little hearts racing just thinking about it... lol

iam a man,and i think men that does stuff like that,shouldnt walk the earth.the only reason i figure they rape,is because thats the only way they can get it.well,ill tell you what,if that was the only way i could get it,then i will go without.when i have sex,it has to be mutual or i dont want it.when i was younger,if a woman said no,then i wouldnt go any farther.but i was usuallly pretty lucky,when i was younger,getting it,but both of us wanted it.i never believed in forcing women to do something that they didnt want to do,and ill keep that thought as long as i live.

It starts with a mismatch in teenage boys desire for sex with their ability/chance to get regular sex. Most men spend a decade extremely sexually frustrated. Even if they find a girl who will be sexual, they usually want even more.

So the frustration warps some guys mentally. They begin to resent women for causing the frustration, and then eventually they warp their mentality until they just don't care and want to get back at women at the same time satisfying their sexual urges.

Men usually rape because they could not have something to express their sexual urges and drives. That's why men usually masturbate to express their urges. But some men are not satisfied with solo self stimulation that is the reason why they rape.
