If i play guitar hero 2, can i use a guitar controller thats NOT wireless, like the one used for guitar hero 1

the guitar hero im talking about is the one for ps2 and i need to know if i can use a wired guitar controller for guitar hero 2 instead of using a wireless guitar controller

but wireless guitars are easier to move around w/ and stuff

yes but i would not reccomend wireless because the buttons are a little harder to push in than wired 1s
