When I think of death and dying I kind of look forward to it as a natural progression in life. From the moment we are born we are all dying. However, that's only if it's a peaceful death after a long fulfilling life.

Never. We are born to live and if an individual agrees to a short life before birth, there is no way I can know about it.

when whats coming next is worse than nothing obviously. In particular I would say after losing my genitals in some horrible accident or something. Or maybe when youre going to be in some kind of prison camp getting tortured for the rest of your life to give away secrets. Then theres also having to listen to the phone ring and thats really annoying also.

I would consider myself better off dead when I no longer want to live. I guess it's as simple as that.

I have thought of " something else" being better of dead, like certain collections of words because they served no good purpose in my mind and that's it.

Any time extraordinary measures must be taken to substain only the vital functions.

A person grows and expands until appx. the age of 25, then they begin to die.
The correct expression is: We are born only TO die.

If someone is in terrible pain and there's no hope for recovery - that person would be better off dead.
