I want to get a new one from HP.Does Dell give like a $50 credit on the next purchase of Dell or should I just throw it out?I wont sell it because nobody will want it and I don't trust ebay.Remember I've had it for nine years so its ancient.who the hell would want it?

Dell does have a recycling program but I don't think they pay crap.

Free, since when Microsoft sells PC's and hardware?

Dell promise take back the old computers but they dont pay for them

Put it on Ebay. Dell buy back a old computer.... GOOD LUCK! Only if you had it less than 2 days!

they have a recycling program, but i doubt you get very much. but it depends on what system you had. Don't let microsoft tell you that you need to buy a new computer from them and a new operating system, and new hardware, and new software. Use linux like I do. Its free, and better than windows. I use Ubuntu linux if you care to know.

Dell sends out their ninja agents to steal back their computers in the dead of night. If you write and ask them to buy yours, the ninjas will be at your house some night soon.

Ask Dell, they may allow you to use it as a trade in.
