My my if we could gather that wisdom together we could become wealthy.

You know of course the neo feminists will say that gender has no effect upon behaviour and thinking. This is, of course, hogwash. Basically, man builds the house and woman makes the home.

When it comes to work of a mental and intellectual level, both sexes are equally capable and should receive equal pay for equal work. It is in the home that there are differences in men and women. The sexes are equal but complementary in what they contribute to raising a successful home. Of course a man can change diapers and cook and do whatever, but his primary function is to work and support a family. It is this responsibility that turns a boy into a man.

How did we get to the point we are at now? Feminism and playboyism were social experiments thrust upon the young people of the 60's and 70's. Up until that time, men and women had a time-tested technique to live together. Women were by nature, feminine and softer. Men were masculine, stronger and harder. These social movements stole behaviours from both genders, the ability of girls to be feminine, the ability of boys to be resolute and responsible.

Now we have young people becoming sexual at younger and younger ages, lured by media. Nowadays kids let it all hang out and there are fewer boundaries of what is right and wrong between the genders. Girls now dress less demurly and more sexily. Boys are about the same only the styles are different. So gender effects their choice in clothing as often as not. Girls often choose their clothes to impress other girls and look sexy for boys. Boys just get what is cool, comfortable and gets the chicks.

Gosh, such a huge topic it really is hard to know where to begin.!

Biologically a person will have hormones which determine the gender and those will have some effect in the behavior.. Males having testosterone will tend to be more aggressive as a general rule.
Emotionally it is what males and females are taught, here in the US males are taught that we have to be tough. Also TV and movies are a small influence on our actions.
This is just a small part of the answer you are looking for, gender and behavior is a big subject.

It first affects the way they're brought up (little boys get toy cars and sports equipment, little girls get baby dolls and frou-frou dresses). And it all snowballs from there.
