There cannot be such an animal. Every animal is driven by its instincts which guide them in all circumstances. So, every animal is aware of itself.

As far as I know humans are the only animals considered to be self aware.
But, what do we really know about the thought processes of other animals. Since we aren't able to freely communicate I believe all we really know comes from educated guesses. I hate to say it but most of those guesses come from people who were taught what to think and never learned how to think.
I guess my concern is we may not be giving animals enough credit. If a creature can solve problems, devise tools, mate for life and defend territory just how far removed from self awareness are they???

Yes in a way.
Most animals aren't aware of their own reflection. Only some birds, dolphins, chimpanzees and humans recognize their reflection as themselves.
On top of that lots of animals don't think, they only react. It could be argued that animals like flatworms wouldn't be aware of themselves because they don't have cognitive thought.
