Our mascot is the Patriots but the theme does not have to be related. Any cool ideas for a float in the parade?

Dedicate a portion of the float to each decade that the school has been in use. Use colors, history, fashion, music.... You can then have the students involved sress in the differenet decades style. A cool way to honor the schools legacy.
Be sure to pay special attention to any awards the school has won over time. This works well if the school is still young.

Does the parade have a theme? Or have you done any projects recently that you would like to highlight? Or does your town have some kind of claim to fame, like a favorite sports hero or some invention?

If it's homecoming, then the thing that seems to work the best is an alliteration with the other team, like someone might do "Pulverize the Patriots" if they were playing you for homecoming.
