What do you do if you accidently take two birth control pills in one day?

I have just continued as if I didn't do that because the last time I stupidy did that...(I am very absent minded some times.) I skipped waited until the next day to take the next dose and ended up bleeding for weeks.
I am on Seasonale and this is the only pill that has ever made me bleed if I miss one, and it doesn't stop bleeding or spotting until my next period. It is horrible.

call your doctor and use a back up form of birth control for the rest of the cycle. If you are "very absent minded" I don't think the pill is for you. Maybe you need a different type of birth control because the birth control you don't take isn't any birth control at all.

You may feel a bit nauseated from the extra hormone, but you'll be fine. You should definitely just continue on taking a pill every day, don't skip. It seems horrible when you bleed after skipping just one pill, but that indicates that you aren't getting TOO much hormone, which is good as far as possible side effects go. The lowest amount of hormone you take, the better.

I wonder if there isn't a better way for you to take your pills, if you're taking too many at a time and are absent minded. Maybe get a pocket calendar and X off the date when you take the pill?

Oh man ur right I was on that pill I hated it...try getting the shot. I heard they improved it so u won't gain weight. But with that seasonale you have to be on point!!! So it's not for u....sorry!!

You do twice the sex you normally do, that will fix it!
