What's the life expectancy of a drug user?

In my line of work, I see it all the time. Some of them check out in their teens and twenties from OD's, but many of them make it into ther 30's or 40's and die from renal failure or liver failure.

Depends on the drug. Hard drugs like meth or heroin decrease your lifespan dramatically. I have a half sister who is addicted to pain pills, meth and no telling what else. She took a photo with my mom a couple months ago and she looks OLDER than my mother! That's very, very sad. She will die before too many years pass. That is their doom. They destroy their bodies - inside and out.

Depends on what they use, and who they deal with. And not all drugs are harmful. keep that in mind before you judge people. And many users and dealers are great people!

it probably depends on what drug they are using and how much they are using. some use for years, others die in days/weeks.
