i will be 15 weeks on Saturday. i am 30 pounds overweight and carry excess weight in belly and thighs. i try to feel my growing uterus by pressing below belly button, but it just feels more bloating and squishy, not hard. i feel like i've been waiting foreverrrrr and not showing at all -- first pregnancy. anything to worry about? i get slight cramping lately, assuming it's just stretching uterus.

Read the book what to expect when you're expecting, and stop listening to every well meaning busybody telling you how you should look, feel, etc. There is no fixed way as to how you should look, every woman is different. Drink more water, eat more fruit and vegetables, watch your weight, and listen only to your doctor. Enjoy the experience, don't worry too much.
Relax, this is a momentous time in your life and that of your child. Go easy on yourself as well.
Good Luck

Please..no stressing..enjoy this time. Usually with the first pregnancy it takes a while to show. I didn't start showing and wearing maternity clothes until month 6.

Check out what Babycenter says about 15 weeks pregnant..

"How your life's changing: You've probably gained about 5 pounds by now. If it's a little more or less, don't worry too much. Every woman gains weight at a different rate. While you're well into the swing of being pregnant, you may still be surprised by an unexpected symptom now and then..."

No! the baby and you are fine. Everyone is differant and if you look up just the size of the baby at 15 weeks[about 2 inches!] it is tiny!! some women put on weight more and some dont. It depends on if this is your first too I didnt show until after 6 months with my first one He was small at birth he weighed 5.7 oz so just eat healthy and don't worry the doctor will do an ultra sound and you can see just how tiny the baby is....

That all sounds normal; I was nearly six months along before I started showing, and I'm more than 30 lbs overweight for my height. don't worry, you'll start showing soon enough. The cramping most likely is from your uterus stretching, but if you're worried, talk to your doctor.

Hi its nothing to worry about. Im on my 2nd pregnancy now and i am overweight also! I just still look fat!!! The only thing is i notice my tummy is a bit more rounded. I have put on 1 kg now. im 14 weeks and 5 days.

Cramps are normal too, don't worry. I get them. We all do. Our uterus is stretching, so its normal. If you have spotting with it, see your doc. You are over the critical time anyway, all should be ok from here!

Congrats on your pregnancy!

People show at different times. With my daughter I started showing right away, but not with this pregnancy. I am going on 11 weeks and nothing is showing anywhere.. Give it time your belly will stick out there in due time.. I promise...

No nothing to worry about. Women that start out their pregnancy overweight tend to not show so soon.
Don't worry, you will show soon enough but make sure to maintain a healthy diet and try to not load up on empty calories.

As long as your doctor says you are fine, relax. I knew a girl who was stick thin who was carrying twins and did not show until she was 7 months along. The babies were a good size for twins and she was fine. Some people show later.

I am thin and I didn't really show until about 20 weeks. And then it was just this little bump. It wasn't until 30 weeks where my stomach looked pregnant. Then about 33 weeks it just exploded and I became huge almost overnight.
