yea i think i am accdicted to world of warcraft. I first started playing when my buddies on my high school football team played it and gave me these CD's and they helped me get into it and next thing i know i spend like freakin 8+ hours a day on the weekends playing this game. This game kiks azz, anyone else here addicted?

I started playing when it was about a year old. I played for almost 2 years. It ruled my life. I had no job just got up played all day, then went to sleep.
In that time i made:
60 druid (all tier 2), 60 warrior (High Warlord BABY!)
60 shaman, 60 warlock, 60 hunter (rare pvp set)
19 twink rogue with 10k HK's and worth 600gold
I quit as the expansion came out, knowing how much more time I would waste playing the new game. I sold my account way undervalued and have not missed it since. You gotta give it up sometime.. really its for the best.

Yes, I'm addicted. And I have an even more revealing confession. I generally have always had a game that I get addicted too. Such as Star Wars Galaxies, Madden, Call of Duty, etc.
I am a ancient gamer, 48 years old. I've been a wargamer and miniatures player too. I feel I've been searching my entire life for the "Perfect" gaming experience.
If I had had the time, finances and foresight in my younger days, I would probably be better off becoming a game programmer. I'd be working for Blizzard right now!

sure am .i started playing about 2 yrs ago have a pile of high level chars grinded the old pvp system on my mage 10hrs a day for several months to hit up warlord and now that hes 70 ive got him in arena ...all this while holding a 45hr a week job and trying to spend time with the wife and kids doesnt leave much room for sleep. although i must admit the amount i play has dropped to maybe 4-5hrs a night since bc hit and maybe 12hrs on sunday the new pvp and arena system and even instances dont drag on as much as they used too so big improvement

i've just recently started playing WoW, but it is a very addicting game. I know many people who themselves are addicted to WoW. Whether thats a bad thing or not, i'm not sure.

Note that you can cycle through commands with similar starting letters by typing, for example, and then hitting the tab button to cycle through the commands that start with a.
/bind - Gives your current bind location.
