My urine has a strong smell. I wont go into too much detail, but its a strong salty or of smell. I drink lots of water, so what else could this mean?

are you taking vit?. or have you change in diet? And are you sure your drinking lot's of water ?but if it follows with pain do go get that checked. Drink lot's of camomile cold taste good too. Alfalfa is good for urinary prb.to it comes in powder or capsule this is found in a natural health food store such as trader joes or worlds whole market.

The most common cause would be a urinary tract infection. I would just schedule an appt with your family doctor for a urine screen. The strong smell in your urine could be normal, but it's worth it to be sure.

It could mean an infection. If you drink lots of water you might be diluting it enough not to notice other symptoms aside from the smell. It could also just be something you're eating!

how much water do you consider lots????? people are told to keep one gallon of h2o per person per day for drinking water alone to stay hydrated in a situation where your faucets dont work. I might also suggest you think about hormone flucuations (your "time of the month")

Did you eat asparagus? Or take a vitamin? Both make your urine smell funny and bright yellow.

well you could have a UTI Urinary tract infection or a Kidney infection.you should go to the Dr and have them give you a urine test.you don't want to leave this go for to long.

urine contains ammonia. it could be an infection. it could be normal and you are sensitive. only a doctor can answer you.

sounds like you may have an "uti" infection which alot of female gets. you can get medication for this. also, they have kits at your local stores to test for it yourself. good luck.
