There are many options for lesbian couples who wish to have a baby through Artificial Insemination. My partner and I are currently on our 2nd cycle of ttc using this method. We opted to use a private sperm donor. I have provided you with a link below which you may find useful.

Best of Luck to you both!

Sadly, you may be better off not letting the clinic know you are lesbian - just say you're single and want a child of your own.

It's horrible how many ignorant people are in this world (see answerer #1). I wish you luck and a beautiful baby in the future.

I don't belive that it is too difficult. I actually know of one couple near me (east coast, US) who successfully went through artificail insemination twice and have two beautiful boys. So, I do know that it is possible. My husband and I are TTC and I talk to the birth mom often about every thing they went through. They are both wonderful mothers and their boys are very very lucky to have them. I wish you two the best! Good luck and lots of baby dust to you both!

i've heard here in canada some doctors dont give the treatment to single women, including ones with money and means. I assume same with lesbians. They refuse subtly tho.

however other doctors do provide. in my city, only two are so willing.

I would assume that it would be more difficult for a lesbian couple to get. It would probably just be easier to try to get it as a single woman. Of course I really have no idea, just my opinion.

the best thing to do is just call the place and ask them. i have friends who are getting a close mail friend to donate the sperm. i wish you the best of luck and hopefully you can start your family soon

I pray it is impossible, for the sake of the child.

Please do not attempt this until you get straightened out and stop being lesbian.
