I'm a Pisces and tried to consceive last month so that I would get a Scorpio. No luck. Now I refuse to try again until October so I will have a Cancer. I have two kids, a Capricorn and a Leo. My husband is a Gemini/Cacer Cusp. Am I crazy?

No, you are not crazy but the sun sign is not the only significant part of the horoscope. You could have a child born in the signs you have chosen above, and still not have great compatibility with them. You need to look at where some of the other planets are located, such as the moon sign, which, if in Pisces would make the child more able to relate to you emotionally, with Mercury in some of the same signs you mention would give you mental compatibility, Venus would give you pretty much the same values, etc. You need to check out the planetary positions in your and your husbands charts to figure out when the best time would be to try for another child.
I will say however, the children, spouses, parents, etc are all in our lives so that we may learn lessons and values of others. This is never an easy trip but it is certainly educational.

So... let's see, there are 6.5 billion people in the world. So, I'm guessing that must mean there are around 500 million people born under the sign of Cancer. So, when I read the horoscope for Cancer then that means that there are 500 million people who are about to have exactly the same day as I? Hmm...
I guess that's not crazy. Now, you could calculate the daily horoscope for every day for the next 100 years for each sign and then pick the best one for your baby (and 500 million other people). Now, that would be crazy!

Absolutely non-sense.
I am a vedic astrologer and can tell you what you are attempting is absolutely rubbish Will you attempt open heart surgery on you.
Sun based sun sign have little relevance or significance so do not attempt these things. What actually matter is many combinations (yoga) that form in kundali that is cast based on time of birth and not month of birth. Vedic system is depending on Dash system and hence time is important as compared to month.

It really doesn't matter much. It is a little crazy, but as good a reason for selecting timing as any other. Unfortunately, nature doesn't always follow your wishes, it's kind of difficult to pin conception down that closely..

I'd say you're a little too passionate about something that doesn't really affect people's personalities or futures.... its just all in how you interpret it.
If you still decide to go through with it. Just PLEASE don't raise or judge your child based on his or her sign... Just because I'm born in May does not mean I fit in with everything people think about a Taurus. and you could seriously screw up a kid by trying to make them something they are not.

I don't think so, its not unheard of. There's people that plan it so it will be the same birthday month as the mom or dad. Or a christmas baby, a new years baby, etc. It's your baby, I dont think it would be that weird but I dont think it to be that important either.
