i was just wondering how many idiots that need to go back to japan or where ever that bull crap and waste of time came from comics are stuff about super heroes, people in tights, and awesome sidekicks not little asian scribbles that are terrible wake up anime idiots WERE AMERICANS AND WE SPEAK AMERICAN BECAUSE YOU IN AMERICA not asia you pricks get a real life go to a real comic convention not an oriental market you twits. just want to see who likes anime crap so much they have to defend its anime *** unlike the super heroes in actual comics. Well, it's just that animes are REALLY addicting. All anime fans know (deep-down) that anime/manga is not real, but in the same way you like comics, we like anime and manga just because it's fun to read and watch. And, it's pretty =). Try watching some anime, reading some manga; you might like it more than you think.

It's funny that after saying all that you say PEACE at the end.

I like animes more because they tackle different subjects that comic creators here are so chicken to put their hands on. Anime characters are much more complex therefore more real. Many animes do not have a clear hero or villain. The hero is not perfect and the villain is not pure evil. You see their motives and intentions and undertand them. Disney movies never did that to me. Plus, they are not all superheroes.

Well, I like anime and manga (of cause this was made from Asia) like naruto since the comic and animation that came from America is really boring and poor of creativity. Just watch how this Americans make the characters of their animation, not just ugly but not have sense of art. But most of American people have a nice art of WAR, so don't talk about PEACE here...............

Now I do mourn for the state of American comics today, and find it sad to see that kids aren't into Superman and Batman like they used to, but I see manga as filling a need more than anything else- i.e., people want more than just superheroes, and manga meets that need.

But however dwindling the US comic industry may be, that doesn't excuse ignorance.

Hey, if you don't like it DON'T WATCH IT! let all the 'anime fans' watch their anime and you watch/read all your comics and cartoons that someday will make you get sick of watching the same episodes repeat over and over... everybody has their own opinions, if you think that of anime then OK, who cares?. You don't know if those types of cartoons you like so much was originally an anime. Sorry to say it but in my opinion anime is MUCH better than any cartoon I've ever watched.

But for real, anime is better than any American cartoon - the storylines are more interesting and the animation is far superior.

I don't know anyone who speaks "American" but I do speak English, therefore I watch my anime with subtitles :D

USA exports more TV shows and comics than any other country in the world, and alot of it is very bad and of poor quality (Blind Justice anyone?)

Anime is just another form of animation, its not better or less than American animation.... Naruto is cool, I like it because it focuses on kids not airhead teens with giant boobies.
