My aunt has a Honda or Ford, not too sure, and her car only has one mirror on the driver's side. I thought only her car was like that, until I saw other similar car models with the same feature. Why is that?

If you can confuse a Honda with a Ford, what year are you talking about? Back in the day, passenger side mirror was not required. Please find out what YEAR the car is!

One on driver's door outside and one on windshield inside. You can turn your head to see behind the far side. It just saves a few bucks for the manufacturer.

dont really know, my Subaru is that way too, must have seemed like it wasn't necessary, because its better to look over that shoulder instead of trusting the mirror, because of the blind spot.
