there are disposable menstrual cups you can use. theyre a godsend. really! here's the link: http://www.body-care-shop.com/gip/instead-menstrual-cup.htm
i think most guys will be put off by the whole period/sex thing.. but they'll never know- and you can see for yourself if its better -- use the cups.

Makes absolutely no difference to me as long as the woman can remove the tampon herself before; the sex for my girlfriend and I has actually been more enjoyable because of the reasons you stated (more natural lubrication etc.). Another thing to remember is the woman may enjoy it more because the risk of becoming pregnant is less - I think - if she's menstruating. Most women do wait until after their period to have sex, especially those involved in "newer" relationships because they feel sexier and are in better moods once they are off it. With older relationships, the two are much more comfortable and will have sex under conditions never thought of with most new couples.

It's all personal preference. Some wait. Some guys don't care, others do.
Ask your boyfriend what he prefers.
I have had sex on my period before. The best time is near the end of it when it's lighter because the cramps are gone and libido is up then. Wear a regular tampon. That way there is no mess for neither the guy nor you.
Be sure to use protection. You can still get pregnant on your period.

It is a very personal decision. Most guys are usally not into having sex when aunt flow comes to visit. Sex is supposed to be more intense for the female but if you are really looking forward to getting the relationship off to a good start I would recommend waiting till you have been together a little longer...don't want to scare him away

The most important thing here is that you need to open up the conversation to let him know what you are thinking. Men react differently about this topic. However, one common theme is that men want to know beforehand that his lady is on her period before engaging in sex. Put it this way, how would you like it if you just had some great sex and went to the washroom to pee, then seeing that your penis and groin area saturated in blood. When it comes to intimacy-- honesty and open communication is the only way to go.

Most of the young immature guys don't like it but after you get older and realize its going to be there every month for a long, long time you come to realize its not a big deal. So if he is a young guy he probably won't like to. You should be open enough to discuss it and there is always oral sex you can do to him.

if you are close enough with this fellow to be having sex you should be close enough to talk about things like this.Relationship is no good at all if theres a big guessing game going on.I would say that in this case..its up to you ..if you have discomfort [physically] then dont do it..but if its a case of if its safe or ok...you sure wont get pregnant during your period. There is an upside. If you are going to do it..be prepared..have plenty of cleanup stuff available

Most guys don't tend to mind. Just work out ahead of time who is charge of clean up duty.
