Yes, it most certainly would be a big turn-off. And yes, if I really thought she was "hot," I might even ask her out. But if I was still focusing or hung-up on the voice after one or two dates, I'd probably just "take my foot off the gas" and keep things on a purely friendship level.

I've never been turned OFF by a voice (although I've wondered if a guy was gay because of the way he spoke), but I'm frequently turned on by a sexy voice.

ok so im a chick...and sometimes i hear other girls talk and i think "how the heck can any dude stand to hear her talk!" like the girls that squeek! ugh! if it annoys me and you only taking my dinner order i dunno how anyone could handle that!
but if a dude had a high voice...eh i think i'd at least give them a chance.
although deep voices are super sexy!
