was she near a male ham ever?? did she have baby's? I'd take her to the vet.. if you dont see anything that could have hurt her... something might be really wrong with her..I can't tell if she has wet tail or not.. if she does it'd look a lot like diarea.. it's very very very dangerous and life threatoning if she does have it..go to vet asap! on the other hand she is sounding kinda old at 2 years...hams live maybe 3 years.. I have a honey bear ham male right now.. (he's sleeping currently...later he'll get up and forge for food..and then run on his wheel) but yeah... ham's shouldn't have fuz everywhere liek tha.t I'd bathe her in the sink... plug the sink...get some luke warm water... NOT hot and NOT cold..get a wash cloth to dry off gently.. use some tear free childrens shampoo or something..just a dab... but if she has cuts dont use I guess...thad be bad.. er.. message me if you need more help...

Hampsters generally live to be about 2 years old, sometimes three. The problem could be that shes just getting old. She might also have some sort of skin problem which is causing her to bleed. You should check her body for any scabs if you havent. She might be allergic to something near her cage which is causing her to skratch untill she bleeds which might cause an infection which would make her smell. The smell also might come from you not cleaning her cage enough, or her getting old.
I hope that helps.

I'm very sorry about your hamster. She will not live a lot longer. Everytime I have heard of this, the hamster died. I've owned several in my lifetime and currently have two myself. All you can do is make her comfortable. If you can get her to a vet in time-more power to you but she sounds like she is too far gone to pull through. I wish you both the best.

Hamsters live about two to three years, and the older they get the more likely they'll catch a disease. She might have a ruptured bowel if you're noticing a fecal smell and blood. It would be more humane to have her put to sleep if that is the case.

Sadly they do not live very long, and unfortunately this is a disease and it is deadly. Your little friend will most likely die within a day or two. Try to make him comfortable, there is no way to save him so make his last moments wonderful. Don't move him around too much though.

Sounds like wet tail, something hamsters get. A little Castor oil should work. If that is you caught it in time....
This is when they can not go to the bathroom. It smells and is rather nasty. And it is deadly.

Incorrect information about wet tail in your hamster. Your hamster is too old to get this, as this is usually something hamsters get during the weaning stage. Your hamster does need antibiotics or it will probably die.

well idk why she is bloody, but my hamster died from something called wet tail. I have no idea how they get it or what it does, but it killed my hamster. Check and see if it peed everywhere cuz that's what mine did. Mine also smelled and was wet. If so, bring it to a vet or something.
Good luck. = )

it's called a "wet tail"
what you have to do is clean it butt with a cu-tip. and dip it in water and kind of scrub it. do it everyday until it gets better.
sorry but...my hamster died of that.
