Every place I go, I only see black security guards for the most part. This is not meant to be funny or a joke. I am really curious.

They are very low paying, maybe the white folks don't want them, plus the population has a very large proportion of blacks, so it may be just social dynamics

It is an easy low skill job,yet it gives blacks a position of authority a uniform and in some cases a real gun. It is part of the great masquerade of securing buildings that really need nothing. Most of the important agencies hire real police. We have become a society of mice. I grew up in the cold war Era with a real enemy that could have wiped us off the face of the earth. There was no doubt that they had weapons of mass destruction and means to deliver them. Yet we didn't run around like morons with this orange,amber alert BS. We still had respect for personal liberty and a government loyal to the Constitution. Many Blacks have no national loyalties. After all they need to pay back whitey for slavery. And believe it or not many of these jobs pay better than you would imagine. I had a security guard tell me she was making $38/hr. Not bad just to sit there all day.

I've always though that some people think that others are scared of Black People so they hire Black security guards. Weird but I think that's it.

I am from DC, my home. The majority of people in DC are black period, so you would see them hold all types of jobs

Well, I guess you just prove one overly redundant steroetype wrong, black folks do have jobs. You can't be on welfare and working. I need to go to DC, then maybe i can shop in peace!

Maybe it's the best job they can get. Many black people come from low-income families, where they can't afford higher education and must rely on second-rate school systems. This isn't meant to be racist; this is just what I've noticed.

Well because you dont need and much of an eductaion to carry a flash light, and you know DC public schools aren't the greatest. And its full of Black people (60%, but getting whiter)
