I often why some people have to suffer more in life than others. Is it true that God only gives us as much as we can handle and we become stronger as we go through troubles?

I sometimes feel that others my age have not had to go through as much trouble as me. I wonder why our lives and destinies are so different.

Is it because of the choices that we make or is it just because of our karma or just our luck? Or, do we all face some type of trouble in some phase of our life - childhood, middle age or adulthood.

If God gave us as much as we can handle, then it wouldn't be testing us, right?
But I know what you mean: I know so many people who feel this way, but a lot of them create thier own problems that could be easily solved by not being selfish.
Now, for someone like me, I give a lot to people and find things are going easier for me, so maybe it's a karma-fixing; apparently, if you done something bad in your past life, you'll be tried in the next.
Personally, I feel like it's a test of your will, your soul, and your strength for whatever God has planned for us (stay strong because the time's coming soon when we'll be judged, and believe it or not, I'm not religious)

It happens. Some people suffer and others don't. The worst person on earth could win the lottery, and the best could die a long painful death. For example: Steven Hawking can't walk. Now, come on, if anyone deserves to walk its him. It's not because he's bad, or God hates him.
