Richard Gere, he is more down to earth, Tom Cruise is just to "way out there" to be taken seriously. I mean, come on, Tom's practically the Michael Jackson of the movie industry! He's a joke!

Tom Cruise he is better than Richard Gere. Anytime I think of Richard Gere I can't get the image of gerbils out of my mind!

Richard Gere. Tom Cruise doesn't perform, he just acts like he's still in his college frat all the time.

Richard Gere appears more natural. Tom Cruise appears more stilted and artificial. Tom has been acting weird lately especially after he married Katie and had a child. (mid-life crisis!)

Richard Gere is good, but I love how Tom Cruise gets right into his roles; there's lots of energy and passion (I don't know how he has any left over to jump on couches...)
