You shouldn't trust what you see on the internet. You could be scammed or it could be a hacker at work. Even if they say they are certified and have legal rights you are responsible for your own actions. Getting a free scan on the Internet is pretty unlikely, and I prefer buying an Anti-Virus instead to be safe.
