I'm sorry that you are unhappy. Try this........ Close your eyes while listening to inspirational music, whatever works for you. Think about the color yellow, slightly pale but very very bright..now hold onto that for a while....then think about a time when you were very young and full of curiosity and creativity and amazement at how big the world is. Remember how you felt with no real obligations or stress, just trying to figure out what you would do that is fun next. Then come back to your day with the rememberance of that childlike feeling, and you might feel better.

Homemade chocolate chip cookies work too:)

i'm happy for the things i have (each morning when i wake up, eyes to see, ears to hear, the ability to taste foods, that I'm healthy, that I can walk, that I'm breathing, that I can feel with my hands and with my heart).... I'm happy for the rainy days, so that I can realize the sunny ones when they come....

I'm happy for the things I have,... and also happy for the things I don't have.... like born into poverty... hunger-stricken... homeless, clothesless, bedridden... lack of the few friends that I have...

why are you unhappy? Maybe these kinds words will help uplift you...??? Read on...

If you are at you lowest now... there's nowhere to go, but UP!!!!

Tomorrow is a new beginning.

If today is a bad day, good days are coming. (When it rains, doesn't the sun eventually come out?... The same is true with life...)

There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

You're unique, there is no one else exactly like you in this world.

I am fortunate for the things I have, and fortunate for the things I don't have.

Keep a journal and before you go to bed, write ten good things that happened today.

When life throws you lemons, make lemonade.

Today may be a bummed out day, but think of it as one less bummed out day you'll be living. :o)

When you are feeling bummed out, think happy thoughts or talk to someone.

Do something (read a book, watch TV, go to the library, take a walk) to distract yourself from the bummed out feelings and thoughts you are having.

Happy. Could be happier (if I knew I had a good job after my current one ends, and if I had an engagement ring from my boyfriend), but my life is a helluva lot better than it has been for years!

I'm sorry you're unhappy. If you'd care to expand on your woes, you might find a supportive community here!

I'm not unhappy, I choose not to be. Happiness is created, it doesn't just happen. I do have to say that I'm not satisfied with my life though. Plenty I have to work on.

I put on a good faceadeI think. I have issues that need to be dealt with, yet I continue to put them to the back of my mind, and forget about them. So when not dealing with that, or conciously procrastinating, I am happy.
