I would take it. I would feel, I deserved it, after all the money I have given away in my lifetime. Someone shouldn't offer it, if they really dont want you to have it. I myself have 2 children that would eat that money right up. I'd take it, no second thoughts. Especially won money.

Snap their hand off, if they've had a big win on the lottery then it's not going to be such a big deal to them.
Use it wisely though, maybe invest it, don't just blow it on something on a whim...
