A good question is any question you don't know the answer too.

a good question has to be answerable. a good one will include details. I was once told that the only stupid question is the one you dont ask. For yahoo purposes this does not include the obvious stupid questions posted in fun.And thats how the stupidly funny questions should be answered: in fun
for a good example of this check out an avatar named Rico-
I dont take him seriously and so my answers are given with a sense of humor on this site there a three categories of questions: 1. the kind that make you think, makes you give an opinion 2. funny/stupid this category includes stupid racial questions and questions that serve no other purpose than to start a fight. 3. Homework type of question-not necessarily kids asking for the answers but questions that have an absolute answer-no ambiguity or room for debate. these types could be qualified iwth a reference.

Every question is a good one. You've heard the saying "There are no stupid/bad questions"...

What makes a question a good one is one that the asker really wants to hear or learn the answer and isn't just asking to prove a point, show how smart they are or to make someone look bad. Make sense?

Good questions are about seeking and sharing knowledge.

Firstly that it is, and secondly that it is of your Will. The Will is positive and the Judgment is negative. Naturally we each have occasion to Judge for the same reason the Judgment is sensitive, survival, but the human essence is far more complicated than mere vulgar need. As long as your Will is not a mere thing within your Judgment, that the Judgment serves the Will but does not replace it, then your questions shall be generally good.

Your guess is as good as anybodies guess on that one. I've seen questions on here that seem rather silly and are still interesting enough to get lots and lots of answers. Then there are questions that are just asked to annoy, but they get lots of answers too. I've also noticed that you can pretty much tell just how many answers you'll get to a question in the first ten minutes. I'm still going to keep trying to see if I can hit the mother load and get a real good one that people will respond to. Wish me luck!

Ones mind makes good and evil. They are opinions created by ones past experience. Most people judge good questions as ones which make you think hard and learn, ones which bring people together, and ones which are most helpful to the masses. The intention of the asker is also a factor.. Do they want to help others, or themselves?

What it is and what makes it good would be the same....... anyhoo... A good question should tempt an easy answer but provoke debate and end up with multiple answers, the best of which would still need to be decided by further debate.

Questions that I personally like to answer, are ones that have alot of depth to it, and it is a real thought out question, not just rushed. It is a question that really makes me think hard about it, and it gets me excited to answer it. Plus I need to know a little about the subject.
