I just installed windows server 2003 on my computer and I can't find where the mac address is. I need it to run my server on my network.

Wouldn't it be just as easy if you just pop the chassis and take a look inside? I haven't heard anyone actually put another address on the hardware's Flash. That way you are sure which NIC is which and which is being used for which network line.

I say Hmmm, as well. You are running Server 2003 on your network and don't know how to find the MAC address. Yea, right. Go hack something else.

Go to a command prompt.

At the command line type ipconfig /all and then hit enter.

It will return your full TCP/IP config info, including the MAC address.

goto>run>cmd
ipconfig /all
u will get all the information including IP address

also

getmac
if u only want to know only mac address

Correct to use ipconfig /all - But note that it shows as the Physical Address.
