What movies can you think of that were "inspired" by Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction? It seemed that after that movie came out there was a non stop flow of similar movies. Some of them are good/great, others not so much. I know that QT ripped off alot of his ideas from other movies, but just curious if there were any out there that I hadn't seen. Here's the ones I know of off the top of my head:

Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead.
Fargo
2 Days in the Valley
Out Of Sight
Usual Suspects
Suicide Kings
True Romance (QT wrote the script so prolly doesn't count)

Any other ones I missed, good or bad?

Maybe "rip-offs" isn't the best term. But I think those movies do have some similarities to PF. I actually really like all the movies I listed. Was actually just trying to find another hidden gem in the similar genre. Settle down people. :-)

Okay, at first I thought you were putting QT on a pedestal while dissing The Coen Bros, etc.. I guess you're looking for movies were crime is a big theme. Well, a lot of Elmore Leonard books have been made into movies (Stick, Get Shorty, Out Of Sight, etc..). The books are definitely better (The Big Bounce, for instance what a dog.)

Blood Simple - (Coen Bros.)
The Way of The Gun
Ghost Dog : Way Of The Samuarai
Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels
Snatch
The Closer
Wilder Napalm
Wild At Heart
Bad Santa
The Limey
Memento
The Big Hit

i don't think usual suspects falls under anything that tarantino did because there's way more plot in usual suspects. tarantino's plots tend to be more simple. same thing with fargo. fargo was written by the coen brothers which had already been making movies before tarantino got his big break with reservoir dogs.

suicide kings... maybe. true romance was written by tarantino but directed by tony scott and scott did change some things around that were in the original script. but because the original was penned by the man himself... i'd say that doesn't count. the boondock saints reminded me of tarantino when i first saw it but it too has a different feel to it. similar but not the same.

i guess i never really felt that after pulp fiction that there was an onslaught of "inspired" films.

You are completely wrong about Fargo, OUt of SIght, and Usual Suspects ripping off from Pulp Fiction. Fargo, Out of Sight, and Usual Suspects had a cohesive story that are NOT littered with pop-culture references just to hip. Those other movies, I don't know because I've forgot what they were about, but to even think that the Cohen Brothers ripped off Pulp Fiction in Fargo has to the most retarded thing I've ever heard.

Go watch a few movies before you make an even bigger *** out of yourself.

OK things..Denver came out in 95, and didnt make me think of PF, It would be a reaching to say it rip off PF. he also wrote the story Natural Born killers which came out in '94 just like PF . He also wrote for True Romance '93. Something like that would be "Killing Zoe" but it isn't a rip off either, Rodger Avary wrote, dir. it, (he was the co-writer of PF) I thought that 2 day in the valley was a cheat rip off of PF when it came out.

The saddest one of them all was a film with Burt Reynolds called "The Crew". It was just plain garbage.
