it's tedious, borin, and time-consumin 2 them, sugar...however, if a guy really likes u, he'll go with u... :o)

That's not necessarily true. My wife and I love shopping. We will go to the city and shop for the whole day (6/7 hours). We both like the same sort of things, so it's a pleasure to be with each other.

Many reasons, Guys already know what to buy they run in ,and run out . They seem to hate to browze or wait in long lines with a lot of stuff.
Girls on the other hand, walk around, try on stuff, look at all the things they want to spend money on and spend hours in a shop .

A few reasons are.
- Women have more pressure when it comes to fashion and looking good.
-Guys will not say "wow those jeans look so hot on you" to eachother( in most circles)
-The way a woman looks represents status
- To men not so much.

Women are genetically predisposition-ed to gather. Since you live in the US (i assume) you shop rather than sit in a field with your baby gathering food.

it's hardwired into our genetic makeup....... males hunt and fight off predators which translates into sports and video games, even channel surfing the TV is reminiscent of scanning the horizons for potential enemies or prey. Women are gatherers, instead of foraging for nuts and berries to feed our offspring, and searching for straw and feathers for our "nests", we gather stuff at the malls.

shopping is an emotional thing for women and women are all about emotions.
Guys just go in and get what they want and get out because they are like hunters and gatherers and go in get the kill and get back home.
it's that simple. and the truth.

I compromise!!!
If i go shopping with her,,,,, then she needs to go shopping with me at a sex store and get some more toys....
For some reason its a win win situation for her.

Secretly I think a lot of guys do like to shop but because it is seen as such a 'girly' thing to do, they don't like to admit it.
