I just read book five in the Alex Rider series. And it ended really sad!! so i was wondering if he wrote any more books or is going to?... it is a horrible way to end a series!!!! having the main character die!!!!!!!!!!!!! argh. So anyways does anyone know?

Okay, you have obviously just read Scorpia, book five in the series...however, this is not the climax of the series. Now you should get a book called Ark Angel, the follow up from Scorpia. 6 Alex Rider books have been published so far, with a seventh arriving in the stores sometime later this year.
It will be called Snakehead.
Anthony Horowitz has said that he will write one more after that, equaling a total of 8 Alex Rider books.
I am hoping you read the books in order, which is as follows.
Stormbreaker
Point Blanc
Skeleton Key
Eagle Strike
Scorpia
Ark Angel
Snakehead (2007)

It is definitely not the end for Alex Rider..He is the main character in book 6 and will still be in book 7...

anthony horowitz has written seven alex rider series. ark angel, the sixth book is out now and that snakehead the seventh alex rider book will be out this november. if you haven't heard they made a movie out of the books. stormbreaker came out last july 06 and october in the u.s. the dvd is out now. anthony is writing a screen play for the second movie now. the movie was o.k.
