alright, I've done a lot of research on this, and it's not "stretching" the skin. it's using a technique that is implemented with a lot of plastic surgery called tissue expansion. when skin is pulled at or stretched for long periods of time it grows to relieve the pressure, so using cones, weights, etc. supply that needed force. and yes it does depend on the person I've seen 1 year to 3 online. but many say that if you take vitamins and such that it speeds the growth some.
to those that answer a simple opinion, it is no help to the asker because he didn't want to know what you thought about circed Vs. un-circed.

John, saying you're 'sure' you wouldn't want to have it another way is rather ignorant. I very much doubt that if you lived in Europe and had no been circumcised that you'd want to be. ;) Even for me, had I been circumcised at birth chances are that I would like being so. People have a tendency of sticking to what they like.
Anyways, possible reasons why the OP might want it back:

To answer the question, foreskin restoration, which really is just stretching the foreskin, you can't get a lot of what you lost already, takes a VERY long time. I'm talking about a year or more. Try this site, btw:

Restoration is a very lengthy process, possibly years rather than months, but it depends on how much skin is left and how elastic it is. Most guys begin to see some improvement in 3-4 months and achieve optimal restoration in a couple of years. Check out the information at http://www.norm.org -- and good luck to you. I'm uncut, but the reports I get from men who have been restoring have been very positive.

I don't think that it will grow back all of the way, and however much grows back will take a pretty long time. So i've heard. I'm not an expert though so.

Luckily my parents didn't cut a chunk off my penis when I was a baby, I consider myself lucky.

Why grow it back, a circumcised penis is beautiful, much better looking than seeing all the the foreskin.
