I have been dating this guy for awhile now... and he travels a bit for work/has another home down where the business is... anyways..he invited his friend down with him this week for 4days/3 nights.. this is a gay friend of his.. (I have never met him.. and this guy has a boyfriend.. says he wants to meet me) My bf was going to get him at the airport... have not heard back in a bit/probably won't tonight.. why am I jealous about this? He says they were never intimate/he is not attracted to the guy... guess, just wish it were me with him.. relationship is built on trust... but why does this continue to bother me so much.. has anyone been in a similar situation? I have never been with my bf for a total of 4 days at one time lol.. wouldn't you think after that long he would fall for this other guy? idunno... but I appreciate the people who respond! thanks everyone!

gee, why wouldn't he invite you down there for 4 days instead of his um "friend"? i guess this all really depends on how long you have been dating, and how serious the relationship is. if it is just casual dating, then perhaps the concept of 4 days together seems far off from him. but if the plan is that you are both in a serious and monogamous relationship, then it seems quite puzzling that he would not want you with him on the trip..

I just went to mexico for 2 weeks without my husband and when I came back he had to go off to toronto for 5 days...no big deal...our relationship can stand that.....You have to base a relationship on honesty.
