i would like to mention in points and logics
1. football is in our heart but not in mind
2.overall body structure is not fit for the international standard as yet
3. selection criteria is not fair
4. now a days the game plan and technique are more important then the spirit of the game

Coz the team is not strong people r not interested in soccer only they like cricket thats y India is good in that but other countries like Brazil and Argentina they like soccer thats y they r good in that if all indians will be like u may be India will become strong team 1day.
I am not Indian but i think u r indian u now the actor Shah Rukh Khan i like him very much he looks better then Beckham also and he is a good actor
