would i make more if i went to school for both since i went to school and completed 2 programs, or would i only make what the job position would typically make.
Ex. if i worked as a surgical technoligist and was a lvn would my salary increase because i double majored.
Thanks

I'm not sure about the job market for either or if one would be more lucrative over the other, however, I would take a guess and think that there are more jobs available for a LVN/licensed vocational nurse (or LPN/licensed practical nurse) than for surgical technologists. I'm sure that both programs will have a lot of studying and memorizing, so I don't know that that would be such a great idea to go for both nor if it would even be possible with the time and workload of either/or. And I'd heard several years ago that the LPN program is extremely rigorous with all of the knowledge that one needs to know, however, I have not heard anything about surgical technology.

Perhaps you can talk to some current students at a local vocational-technical school that offers either of the programs that you are interested in and see what their take is on how rigorous either one is.
