ok i am trying to delte a sumthing but it has 42.52 mb
so how much do you think it will take?

10-20 seconds i think. depends on the amount of memory u have.

Deleting something takes far less time than copying something. When you write/copy a file, the data has to go into each sector of the file. When you delete something, the operating system only has to mark that those sectors are available again. The data that is in the sectors is not actually erased until new files are written there.

if you have a crappy computer, it will take a little while.

If you have a minimun of pentium 3 (500 mhz), it will only take about 10 seconds.

with my dual core processor, I can delete 42 gigabytes in about 5 seconds haha.

you mean how long it will take to delete? if so ... between 6 to 13 sec. depends on your computer speed
