May I suggest that you consider that most of acting has to do with reading and understanding scripts? A good actor must have a strong grip on how language is used. Before you start auditioning, learn how to use the language. Learn grammar and spelling and etymology and rhetoric. Language will be your tool as an actor. Learn how to use it.

Acting is a tough career and requires endless hard work.

Start by joining the Drama Club or taking drama classes at school.

Also: most all city's have a drama club (playhouse) you can join ~~~ anyone may audition. Some churches have drama clubs too.

If you are serious about acting: start to read everything you can get your hands on that has to do with the theater and the world in general, life in general. Books, plays, biographies, autobiographies ~~~ any subject that interests you. Actors and Actresses are extremely well rounded and intelligent people.

Learn how to dance (including some ballet for poise), play a musical instrument, horseback riding, row a boat ~~~ you name it ~~~ learn how to do it.

Trust me.

You are Underage. Ask your moms and dads to take you to uncover an agent or Talent Manager. You are TOO younger to signal a agreement with a Talent Agent. Most children have Talent Managers, now not dealers, that get jobs for them. If you're in California, you are not able to signal a agreement till you're 18. Vincent Cirrincione is a Talent Manager in L.A. and NYC. I do not know if he represents youngsters. (Vincent is the chief of actress Halle Berry.) Ask your mother or dad to name his workplace and ask for strategies on Talent Managers for kids.

You are 14 years old. You cannot get an agent because you are under age. You cannot sign a contract to act, because you are under age.

You can't do anything in the entertainment business, unless you have the consent of your parents.
