Epsom salts are named for the mineral rich waters of Epsom, England, where they were known at least as far back as Shakespeare's day.

Epsom salts for detox - a simple way to draw toxins out of the body is to take a hot epsom salt bath. Hot water draws toxins out of the body to the skin’s surface, and while the water cools it pulls toxins from the skin. When magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) is absorbed through the skin in a bath, it helps to draw toxins from the body, reduce swelling and relax muscles.

Epsom is Magnesium sulphate Plants use Magnesium to make chlorophyl It's in the top5 nutrients need for green plants Green plants also use sulpher. 1 tbsp in a gal of water per month per plant is enough, Too much, and the sulphate will make the soil more acidic. Epsom is great for the small space gardener, you can buy a Mag sulphate, calcium carbonate mix in a 40# bag (smallest I have seen)

Put half a teaspoon of epsom salts, dissolved in a quart of water, in a spray bottle. Spray it on your tomatoes and peppers - both the flowers and leaves. It works wonders if you want your tomatoes and peppers to set fruit quickly, and the leaves turn a gorgeous dark green!

I forget the dosage, for the next use, it's a tiny amount. When added to aquarium water, it helps goldfish who are having swim bladder problems due to intestinal blockage (if they're alive, but belly-up, or side-up, swimming, with no other obvious illness).

There ya go!

Almost everyone is deficient in magnesium, so taking half a teaspoon several times a week can work wonders for overall health. The taste is bitter so some people stir the salts into lemon juice or orange juice.

If taken at the onset of the flu, or you have been exposed to the virus, a tablespoon in a glass of water will kick it. If you wait for the symptoms to be full blown, take it once a day. You will feel fine in a short while. It is very good for that.
Being pure magnesium, it has many many benefits.
