Hmm seeing as how Galactica (new version) can go FTL in a gravity well and ST and SW vessels can't. I can see galactica bouncing in and out of the system making hit and run attacks. Although the new Vipers rank right up there with the X-Wing as my favorite fighters in any series

Are we talking about the original Battlestar Galactica?
I'd say they'd win, they're a cross between Star Wars and Star Trek with the best of both series.
They've got the coolest spaceship and they fight the Cylons, enemies similar to the Stormtroopers.
